Traditionally, twice a year we women folk meet for dinner and then attend the R.S. Women’s Conference together. This year our group was small -- Mom, Mary, Kristine, Shauna, Cathy, and Melinda (sure did miss the Johnson family). We went to Mimi’s Café and stuffed ourselves (OK, Shauna, so maybe you thought you could hold just two more jelly beans!).
We then drove (in 4 different cars, no less) the short distance to Mom’s for the broadcast. We enjoyed the conference and shared a laugh or two after the spiritual feast.Mom’s home certainly invites the spirit – quiet, clean, welcoming. Mom’s a great hostess, too. More than that, she’s a great woman. How blessed we all are to have her as our mentor and inspiration. I love you, Mom.
